On Saturday, January 9th, the 2nd annual Medieval Banquet took place at Castle Gilead, celebrating Twelfth Night. We heralded the coming of the three wise men to pay homage to Christ our Lord. We feasted on tempting victuals, shared in hot wassail, and enjoyed festive music and play. The evening was presented by ACTS (Artists Coming Together in Spirit).

Singers/servers included Joan Francis, Renae Lent, Martin McGeachy, Joel Thomas, and Mariah Warren. John Vangor was our strolling troubadour. Actors were Bill Brett and Sean Lent. Our kitchen staff: Paul Francis,Caroline Francis, Katharine Foote, Pauline Silberquit, Louis Lent, John Warren, and Renae Lent.

Faith Discussion Group
The Faith Discussion Group meets weekly each Thursday at 7:30 pm. The discussions are currently focused on the Gospel of Mark.

Carmel Nursery Pre-School
Program is accepting applications for enrollment. This nonsectarian
ministry of Gilead has 3, 4, and 5 day programs, and it has been in operation since 1949.

Alcoholics Anonymous groups meet in the Knieriem Room. Men's groups meet every Monday and Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
